Apparently. I used my own freebies in last month's contest and nobody objected.
So long as they're available to the general publc it seems OK. And doing it that way has the positive effect of the challenge increasing the number of freebies.

I have used my own freebies in the past, but only counted them toward the minimum freebie count if they were available during the entire period. For example, I made my villainous machine and posted it as a freebie back in September. After that and unrelated, the October freebie challenge was a horror theme. I count that villainous machine model as a freebie because I posted it for general use before the October freebie challenge started. I also made a beard for my Vincent Price character but I don't count that as a freebie because I made it after the October freebie challenge started. I listed the beard as something made with Carrara so potentially 'bought' even though I used the software tools to make it. I don't know if those are the rules.
