Animation software

Hi all,

I've been animating for sometime now using the Daz .AVI option in the render engine but now I want to try it using multiple stills. Can anyone reccomend a good bit of editing software that loads images in at  a 24th or 25th of a second? everything I've looked at is unable to load an image of these time values. Obviously, I don't want to have to alter each individual frame by hand so any pointers?

Thanks in advance,

D

    Sony Vegas?

I use it for making videos but haven't tried it with single images for an animation.

Sony Vegas (pro) is great, but it looks almost like development has been stopped.

    Hi guys,

Thanks for this. I'm using Coral Pro X7 at the moment and the default frame size in that is 1 sec so no use. Is X8 different? The crucial thing is default still frames at 1/24th or 1/25th. Sony Vegas might be the thing but at over £500 it's a no go for me.

I have 13 (with Hitfilm 3) and love it, but the updates are nothing compared to v12, just minor bug fixes. You got about 70 new features with updates for v12. And now they develop catalyst and offer crossgrade licenses for vegas. Still I hope that they develop 14.

Magix Video loads images at 24 and 25 fps as well.

  • Believe it or not, Blender 3d does this exact thing. ;)
