What is this icon?

I know I ask some questions about what the icons in the Node Column in the Scene Tab before but not this one.

What is that?

It looks like this is a object made up of lots of objects or polygons.

Is there anyway to "disassemble" it?  I need to put a hole in one of the areas of these objects but haven't seen any way to do it.

That is a single mesh object, a prop. You could of course use the Geometry Editor to break it up, or to group it and then turn it into a figure with each group as a bone.
