Keymate Quirk?

When animating, I put all the components of a character (wardrobe, hair, props) into a folder with the figure. Now sometimes in Keymayte I see this Folder and can open it up to reveal the figure and all components...BUT...other times I open the folder and just see adjustments for the folder itself. I can't find anything deeper inside the folder. There seems to be no rhyme or reason why this happens. Any thoughts?
