All Maps should be applied?

Hello all,

After adding a figure (ex. Victoria 8.1 HD), should I apply Victoria 8.1 All Maps HD or are already applied?

As I recall theya re already applied. The materials are there so you can use them without loading the full character, or so you can reset after amking changes, etc.
