Draw Ground at a high altitude?

Hi there - I'm renndering a scene in layers, to be composited in Photoshop later.  The scene takes place on an upper floor, at about 590  on the Y Translate.  My foreground elements have to be shot against a transparent background, of course, but at that height there's no draw ground to 'anchor' them with shadows on the 'floor'.   Is there any way of creating a sort of auxiliary draw ground?
