Viewing and integration

Hi,

I am new to graphics and new to daz3d.  Just now I am starting to learn graphics using daz3d.

I have three basic questions:

1.  How to view the scene created daz3d in a different pc without using daz3d?

2.  How to integrate the graphics in wordpress or any other platforms?

3.  Is it possible to accept images using uploaded images during run time like wearables and make the users to try on the characters?

DAZ Studio saves it's scenes in native format (DUF), so only DS can open them.   Renders are created in an image filde format (JPG, PNG etc) and can be viewed on any PC

I don't know what you mean by 'How to integrate the graphics in wordpress or any other platforms?'      Posed figures can be saved in various formats from DAZ Studio, inlcuding FBX, DAE and OBJ, is that what you mean?

There is no 'run time' in DAZ Studio, it is not a gaming engine of any kind, it is simply used to pose and cloth characters to use in Scenes, with the end result being a Render or an Animation.

    Does that help?

Just an FYI, if you want to make use of daz figure for realtime applications you do need a Game Developer License. I hate to even bring that up honestly, but since you are new you may not be aware of that. Those licenses are expensive and they only cover certain items. Not all items can be used in realtime applications.

I say this because it seems like your goal is to have some sort of interactive experience where people can put on different clothes on the actual 3D model. If that is not the case you are ok. If you just want to have rendered pictures that users can put on top of a picture of the figure thats OK. You can do what you want with the rendered pictures. But you will need to work with a web developer to figure that out :)

is there any possibility to use the gaming engine outside the daz3d environment?

Do you mean can you use DAZ 3D figures in a gaming engine?

The answer is yes, as long as you have the Game Developers Licence, there are a lot of them here : http://www.daz3d.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=game+developer

What exactly are you wanting to do, and what figures are you going to use?    Renders from DAZ Studio can be used in any way you want without a seperate licence, but NOT the 3D mesh of the figure itself.

You can render sprites with interchangeable clothes without a game developers license.

there are a few doll dress up games and such out there made by people using DAZ content in rendered images  and vector graphics apps and flash.
