CLO3D?

So, I came across this when looking up some CGI comics. Apparently one production house is using this for all of their 3D clothing design for their motion comic. I can't see where it's able to be purchased...

Very cool, though. Something to definitely keep an eye on.

    Okay. So...I'm gonna go ahead and assume that if a price isn't listed...then it's hella expensive. haha ;)

    CLO3D is made by the same company as Marvelous Designer, which is widely used for 3D clothes creation nowadays. CLO3D is their pro software aimed at fashion industry.

    So yeah, it's probably in the same price range as the complete Optitex suite, ie very, very expensive ;)

    Marvelous Designer does much the same thing, I believe (there were a few things in the manual that said CLO3d only, which implies it is basically the same program).  It is very good, although I don't like how they price it these days with a subscription model.  They have an open beta on MD5 at the moment if you want to try it.

    $59.99 monthly subscription or $360.00 annual, or $550 perpetual...not sure where you saw $4000.00.

    Edit:  Oh, you were looking at the Enterprise version, silly kitty.

    From the MD site:  "Personal Licenses are strictly for 'individual' users. All enterprises (film studios, gaming companies, etc.) are prohibited from using Personal Licenses."

    Perpetual = life time license?

    Perpetual as in for that version.  Same as if you bought Photoshop CS2 and never upgraded, you still have the license to use CS2 perpetually.
