"Would you like to save the existing filter?" in Install Manager

When I try to download/install DzFire's Rolling Iron (SKU 17805) I get a message "Would you like to save the existing filter?" and no download. I see I need the EscortF.A.V. to use Rolling Iron, but must I also have it installed before downloading Rolling Iron?

You can install things in any order - the required products only come into play when you try and load the assets into a scene.

That message usually means that you already have some text in the search box and it is asking if you want to save it before it replaces it with the new item. Therefore, this might have happened if you clicked the DIM install button on te website once (to launch DIM) and when nothing was available to install you clicked it a second time.

However, the main issue appears to be that DIM is not offering you a product that you purchased right? If so, then it might be because it is "hidden" as this is a slightly older product. First check the "Display Hidden" items and if that does not show them then you may have to go to the "Download filters" and switch on a few more items to make sure you are telling DIM that you want to include it. From the description on the product page I think you would need to ensure that one or both of the Poser options was checked.
