Hi,

Please can someone help me? I just bought the hair https://www.daz3d.com/soft-classic-hair-with-dforce-for-genesis-8-and-81-females and it seems to have a problem because as soon as I add the hair on Jaqueline 8.1 , it looks just like on the picture here :

  • did you run a dforce sim on the hair? That's the only way to get it to lie down.

I don't even know what a dforce sim is.... I only added jaquelique and then added the hair on her and it did that.... I tried deleting the hair and adding them all over again and it just keeps doing the same thing everytime..

  • You have to run a dforce simulation on the hair to drape it. There should be a simulation settings pane, and a blue button that says: Simulate. When you press it, depending on your GPU and how much you have in the scene the hair will drape to naturally match a figure's pose.

Are you talking about this? Cause if so, I already tried it and it doesn't work.. sad

  • I'm sorry I don't, since I don't actually own that product. But I'm glad to have helped this far.

In the simulation pane, try increasing the Gravity parameter, or let the simulation do for a longer period of time (the settings are on the same pane, like "Stabilization Time", etc... they're kinda self-explanatory :) ). Also, look for a hair simulation tutorial on YouTube, there are tons of it and it's gonna save you a lot of trouble in the future.

Moved to Technical Help as it is a content question, not a Daz Studio application question.
