How to save clothes as .duf?

I bought a G8f piece of clothing but the .duf files that come with it are wearable presets I think, because they load multiple clothing pieces which the G8F --> G3F clothing converter can't recognize. How do I save each piece of clothing as an individual .duf? I tried Save As -->  Support Asset --> figure/prop assets, and it seemed to work at first, but later loading of these converted clothes gave me this big fat rectangles. Cheers to any help to this newbie question.

Save a new Wearables preset for each piece. Don't save a new asset as that is not at all what you want - it is for creating new items that do not yet exist as assets (so you might want to do it with the converted item, if the scipt doesn't)
