Anyone tried memory pooling in Blender yet?
Blender has a check box that you can apply to get NVLINK memory pooling.
Just wondering if anyone has tested it out to see if it actually works or not?

That makes only trouble. I switched from 2x 2080ti to 1x 4090ti and my life became better ;)
The more important checkbox is the "Simplify" one on the render settings tab. 4 and 8K textures are generally only necessary for closeups. You're running 2 x 3090, right? You should not be having to worry about memory pooling :)
But more to your question, I don't think memory pooling, even for textures, has worked since the advent of Cycles-X, it is not supported at all on the latest NVidia cards, and it is probably best to just learn how to optimize your scenes. 24 gigs is a lot of VRAM... if it's not enough, you should probably entertain the possibility that you're doing something wrong, or more precisely, not doing something right.
