Changing the appearance of a figure

I have put in the effort and searched for the past hour with no real answer.
What do I need to change the appearance of a figure? Does DAZ allow me to morph the face and body so I can create unique characters? Do I need to use another program?
Not looking for a step by step as I like to learn through trial and error. But I need to know where to start.
Many thanks

Buy some morph packs, which allows you to change different areas of the character. Using Genesis 8 female as an example;
Must have;

Confused, why would DAZ not allow you to create unique characters for use in Daz Studio? As pointed out, you will need morphs installed to change the look of your characters or export to a modeling app like Blender to create unique morphs
