Random Ground Creator

Throws out a thin disk. User selects radius.

then grab sliders

1. rough dirt

2. grass

3. small rocks

4. big rocks

MOST IMPORTANT !

before you start moving the sliders, the application checks for other object's 'footprints'

If something is on the disk, the sliders will create AROUND the object, not in it or under it.

Have some disk morphs for making un uneven disk

valley morph

roadside cliff morph ect..

There are a number of rock and vegetation packs as well as dirt, stone and grass shaders.  Any plane sufficiently divided can be 'sculpted' with deformers.  Once you have created your ground plane and placed the rocks, export the rock as a wavefront object then import back in so they can be used as a collision target for the smoothing modifier you will apply to the ground plane.

  • Vue Complete ($600) might be able to do some of these things.

I'll note that doing deformer terrain in daz is tricky; you often need very high subd and it's then very hard to place figures .

Give Carrara 8.5 Pro https://www.daz3d.com/carrara-8-5-pro  a look at here in the store. I thing it's likely more powerful than Ininito, can't verify that, and a few dollars less today. I've nothing against Infinito which looks good but can't say anything bad it since I've no experience with it. I've been using Carrara Pro since ver 4.
