so im good on creating emissions on objects, what i want to know is is there a way to retain a color on the object that gives off the emission ?
I created this and i put a rosey emission on the sphere, but the sphere itself is bright .
Any solution ? its probably really easy but i cant see it right now.
thanks everyone.

Please show your "Emission" Surfaces settings
Here they are. My Luminance is at 20000.
Too bright. You have the Luminance at 20000 WATTS which is 200 x 100 Watt light bulbs!
yeah i thought that would be the culprit.
Thanks.
My (quick) settings for a flame:
Also, in Tone Mapping settings, set Burn Highlights Per Component to Off and Burn Hightlights to 0.00, with these settings you will never lose a color again.
If you set the emission temp to 0 the Emission color will color your light.
ahhh more great answers.
thank you cool people of Daz.
Hurrah ! your two tips worked combined with the one about the emission temp to zero . Here come more more and better renders.
I'm glad they worked.
Cheers.
