Additional joints in the arms of Genesis

Hi,
I've been working with DazStudio for a while now but still haven't completely figured everything out. For one of my project I would like to add additional joints to the arms of Genesis. I need four to five additional elbows, so to speak.
However, everything I try results in strange deformations of the arms.
I would be very grateful if someone could give me a tip on how to add additional, working joints to the arms.

I'm not sure how practical that would be, though you can certainly add more joints with the Joint editor tool (right-click menu) - the issue would be the shape of the arm, and having enough rings of vertices to allow for a reasonable distribution or weights to make a smooth bend. Using a new model of the arm via GeoGrafting would probably be better, but it would still be a huge undertaking I fear.
