Deforce and Simulate Issue

Wondering if anyone else has this issue. Fabric that is draped down to the "ground" that is meant to drape on the ground, doesn't seem to be able to do it because once you hit "SIMULATE" the character drops slightly below the ground causing the fabric to stick under the ground. My characters all do this. Once you hit that button, for some reason they pop under the ground just under their feet. When using the timeline to have them above the surface to account for this shift... it still happens. Is anyone experiencing this as well? Is there a workaround? Maybe a setting?

Is the figure actually moved above the gorund, and if so using which node (figure or hip)?

It's only when I use "START BONES FROM MEMORIZED POSE"
