mermaid, Horo, Hubert : thank you.
adbc, the first is beautiful but the second one is so dramatic. Excellent!
NGartplay : thank you.
Mermaid, Very interesting work with the lens.
Adbc, I agree with the others, both are wonderful. The first one is dreamy and the second one indeed looks like sci-fi through a distorting lens.
This render took days! I decided to continue it (not continuously, but only in waking hours), because I wanted it finalised. The culprit is the pastille, which I made both partly transparent and partly reflecting, that leads to lots of calculations to obtain the result seen on or in the pastille, I think. Next one will not be so heavy on rendertime!
Wow Hansmar fantastic result, very nice result. Thanks for the comment.
Hansmar, so different from some of your others. A really nice contrast.
Hansmar : Very good idea, the outcome is fantastic. Thanks for your comment.
Hansmar - interesting and very nice result.
Mermaid, NGArtplay, adbc, Horo, Thank you.
I tried again using the Fish Eye Lens, made the document 1:1; I like the result.
The 2nd is Hubert_PurpleSmoker_2023-04-10, I moved the camera to world center, gave the sphere some transparency and used a Hdri from Hdri 4 Fun for lighting.
mermaid : I like the result of both renders, great use of colours and lighting.
mermaid - great result, much better than the panorama one on the previous page IMO. The second one looks like ice spikes and is also very beautiful.
Thanks Adbc and Horo
Hansmar: Wonderfully bizarre. Its render time...... too! ;)
Mermaid: Two cool images. A fascinating construction (object and lighting) and a beautiful crystalline one.
Thanks Hubert
mermaid, wow, love the spiky one especially. I'm constantly surprised by the creativity I'm seeing from everyone with just a simple scene.
Thanks NGartplay, I'm also amazed by the results from everyone.
Mermaid, two wonderful interpretations. The icy spikes look like being taken from a superhero movie.
Hubert: thanks. Yes amazing and bizarre render times. The result is to my liking, but I guess it could have been reached (or something very similar) in much less time.
Thanks Hansmar
Another using Hubert_PurpleSmoker_2023-04-10 file, I duplicated the mesh and changed the camera position.
mermaid - a very beautiful variation.
mermaid : fantastic result, there is like a movement present in that image.
Mermaid: Wonderful movement, very dynamic!
Thanks Horo, Adbc and Hubert
Great job mermaid010, looks like mmm... crystals from another dimension?
Hansmar: It's a very surreal scene, congratulations
Thanks teobaldo.mercado for the nice comment, welcome to the Bryce Forum
mermaid, what an awesome render. I love the 'hairy' look of it...very cool.
Thanks NGartplay
I was upset because I started an image and lost it when I hadn't saved. Took me a bit to try just making an abstract. I'll keep it in the realm of abstract because I don't have to think too much ;)
NGartplay - two great abstracts. I cannot say which one I like better, perhaps the second one, but on second thought, perhaps the first one.
