Dynamic Cloth Plugin (Mac)

I see the note on the Dynamic Cloth that there are known issues with Mac 10.7 (Lion). Does anyone know what these are? Does the plugin not work on Lion at all?

Also - I assume if there are issues with Lion (10.7) there are likely the same (or more) issues with Mountain Lion (10.8)?
