    Happy Halloween, everyone.
    This is an NAE. Done in Iray. My first official Iray render. The background I used is from a thread on lighting a night scene using Iray. Very helpful and the link to it is under the Environment:Background.

    Yes there are 7 movies, wonderful  movies I might add (even at my age I can watch them over and over again) and the books are quite brillant. I actually didn't read the first book until after I'd seen the first movie but after that I tried to get ahead of the movies with my reading and was plesantly surprised at how close they managed to keep to the books. You're right though, they do seem to appeal to a wide audience - even my 93 y/o grandmother enjoys watching them with me lol

    You're right!!! It's been over 10 years since the series started and I still love Harry Potter! Wish there were 8 9 10 1000 books lol! I'd never get tired... Looking for a good new Fantasy serie to read. Any recommendations? BTW, amazing render, Chelle! That guy popping from the mirror is pretty creepy!! surprise

    I agree, I can watch the movies and even read the books over and over. I don't know if you've read it already, but you could check out The Belgariad and it's sequal The Malloreon by David Eddings - excellent books with very rich characters IMHO. And there's the Riftwar Saga by Raymond E. Fiest I would reccomend too.

    Thank you so much for the recommendations! I've been looking for new books and i'm always glad to meet new authors, I didn't know those yet. Will definitely check them out.

    Glad I could give you something new then! :D The other series I mentioned, The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher, is also a good one from what I've read so far (I've read the first 5 books) and is more of a modern setting.

    That looks awesome, Taemimun!   Nice job with the glow and steam from the pots - excellent use of postwork!  laugh

    This cabin must be at the top of a very high mountain considering the low position of the moon and the current camera angle!  wink

    Thanks Skywalker77. I got nabbed as one of the judges for this month so that is why my render is an NAE. But all I really want to do is see what I can do with freebies, any way, so it is all good. They are just so much fun.  Found that little devil over the summer and I just had to take him out for a spin. Found lots of characters over the summer so you will be seeing more of them as the months come and go.

    Thank you laugh Haha yeah they are in the top of the highest tower on a witch's castle in the top of a moutain! (Like those fairytales wink)
