Name already exists - Cannot create camera name even though I have deleted original

Is there some recycle bin the cameras are sent to or Named things are sent to ? I have created and deleted many cameras but sometimes I run into this issue where I cannot create a Camera 1 enoguh though I have deleted that camera some time in the past yet am warned the name already exists. Am I missing something. I like to keep things organized, getting annoyed with having to go with "Camera 01" to get around this weird Naming "bug"?

It's not a bug... Each camera in the the has a Node Name that has to be unique. What you see of a Camera in Scene pane is just its Node Label (has to be unique as well). So pls select a Camera, go to menu Edit - Object - Scene Identification, then you get it...
