    Mermaid, Very original idea! Well made and rendered too. 

    My third entry. I have difficulty to get new ideas on this, so I made another (semi-)abstract. I used the 'flat ribbon knot' with a modified coloured glass texture. Inside the knot is a radial light with a modified 'foamy water' texture as gel to provide the idea of caustics. A multi-copied low-poly fish from the internet (I think from Free3D) is added and there is a cubic fill light in front of the camera with a modified 'caustic adjuster' as gel (that provides the blueish wiggly striping).

    I call it 'The fish tank'.

    My third entry : underwater scene.

    That was an easy one : An underwater scene from Environments beneath the waves, added Grobburg bridge and Shredder fishes from the coral reef scene. Feels a bit like cheating.....

    My third entry, lighting from Deep Space 2 and object from Sharecg. I tried another pattern for the caustic effect.

    Seal the Deal

    I hope that this counts as a new image.  I did a new realization of a previous work.  Added the seal, moved fish around, as well as the POV.
