Using DIM and Two External Hard Drives

I think I may need some help on this. I recently had to get a new laptop due to the old one being out of memory and me not having a clue what’s eating up that memory despite deleting practically everything I dare to delete.

My intent was to use a new external hard drive to install all my DAZ Studio products on an to finally get back into digital art after over 10 years of not having a real usable computer. The new hard drive was a 4 TB one. I say “was” because after almost two days of installing products its down to 291 GB. I still have a crap load left to install….

So I decided to clear out most of what is on my older 5 TB external drive and want to use that to hopefully finish installing my content.

Now the problem. DIM is now showing a full 13,000 + files ready to install and 42 installed. Meaning its not registering the other hard drive at all and what was installed on it. Is there a way to fix this at all so that I wont have to delete everything and reinstall everything again and keep track of what was installed on each hard drive? That’s the only option I can see here other than spending way more money than I can spend to get a larger external hard drive.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Has your old drive changed drive letter?

Or has you moved your manifest files (there is a link in DIM pointing to where it looks for the manifest files).

In the manifest files there is a absolut path to where the content is installed. If that is incorrect DIM cannot see that the content is installed.
