Using G8.1F in VRChat

Hi all.
Wondering if anybody knows what license would need to be purchased in order to make that happen if it can at all. I've done a custom character I've been making art with for somebody via commission using a base 8.1 figure, with mats from "Michelle" that were modified by me.
The customer is asking me if they can use it in VR chat, which is Unity based. Assuming I can do all of the necessary conversions, I'm wondering how to make it happen legally. I would prefer no speculation on the matter, so if you have actual knowledge for me it would be most appreciated.

If this requires sending 3D data to the viewing system then I do not believe it is possible under any of the existing licenses.
if it uses a series of 2D renders for visemes and expressions you can
it's not something I do but there are various products that use renders like this vendor sells DAZ

your client wants ones for a specific Unity based system so you would need to discus with them the series of renders they need

I can't answer to your original question, it would be better to contact Daz directly and explain what you want to do and hear what they suggest on how to approach it.
As for VRChat - best way to figure out what you're going to need is to read up on the process to set up an avatar in Unity for it. You need to optimise it as much as possible, users will simply turn off viewing an avatar if its exceeding the suggested criteria. Definitely spend some time in VRChat if you want to create for it, otherwise you're going to run into every pitfall there is. You don't need a VR headset, there is a desktop mode.

Did you got an answer from the Daz Team?
I have absolutely solid information on this. I spent a FORTUNE on Daz3d Assets SPECIFICALLY for this purpose.
I emailed them before dropping a bunch of money to find out if it was permissible.
It is. As long as you have the interactive license FOR EACH AND EVERY ASSSET that is going into VRChat.
Which, adds significantly to the cost.
If you would like, my email address is WESeib at netscape dot net and I'll be happy to forward the email to you.
As an aside, I never did it. I do not have the necessary skill to accomplish this. I have the assets.
Want a job making me an avatar out of them? :)
