Thanks for the comment! and I don't know anything about Serpieri but Brunna is indeed a character someone created based off of Drunna. I'd have to hunt down the links (those renders are rather old now and I've switched computers numerous times) but the character should be still up on DA.
Yes, I found the DA stuff. Paolo Eleuteri Serpieri is the artist who created Druuna. He's worth looking up especially since Bruuna is Druuna, so it would be good inspiration. Wonderful artwork, though a lot is rather explicit which is why I won't post links, though you can easily find him through Google. :)
I use to be really into erotic fantasy art when I first started 3D but I've moved away from.
Did this when I should have been getting ready for work. LOL. Probably why I don't like it. Maybe I'll return to the idea because I don't really care for the execution here.
-Removed image because I hated it. lol.
Could have gone on longer but I got impatient. To be honest I kind of like the grain.
Wonderful render, I like the grain effect to :-)
popping my head in after being away for awhile. Ever feel like you're trying to do to much at once? Well that's me. :) New pic here
Here is another, I'm once again mixing 3d elements with photographs.
Really like the atmosphere with this one. there's a sense of dread. And the image with the girl's foot at the edge of pond, very interesting vision. Good stuff.

Thanks FB! With all the post rendering I do, I don't think I can really call these renders anymore but I love for my work to tell a story.
This one took FOREVER. I have the moss shader that's in the store but I find it difficult to use and it doesn't look good close up. I looks very flat and lacks the fluffy look of real moss. So I used a image as a texture and painted in bits with a special brush. As practice I think I would like to make backgrounds as freebies and maybe move on and actually sell them. Not really as that point yet, anyway here is another mixed media picture.
Bookworm
Last reply I promise :) I notice in another thread, someone is posting before and after images of postworked renders. Anyone who is familiar with my work knows I'm a post work freak. I thought I would drop a few images as well.
Another mixed media pic, here :) The boat, lanterns, vines and some of the buildings are 3D. I haven't worked on a landscape in years and I've have to say I'm pretty pleased with my growth!
"The Forgotten Tomb"
Mixed media pic (these are so fun) 90% of the plants here are renders.
Thats excellent work! Very beautiful images! :)
Trying to learn more about postwork myself. But I´m not even close to your skills.
Thanks MN, I would suggest going on DA (deviantart) and looking at photomaniuplation tutoirals. If anyone ever has questions I'd do my best to help.
I'm still here and dazing like always! Just something I did as a invinte to a party I had to sadly cancel.
I also have a quick question for anybody who sees this and happens to be a animator but how well does daz mix with AE and matte paintings? I getting kind of intrested in combing the two.
Excellent images, keep'em up coming.
Very cool light filtering through the trees!
Sorry about your party! :(
I don't do animation but this thread might help a little: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/viewthread/4667/
Good luck!
Excellent images, Muireanne. Thanks for sharing - please keep 'em coming!
