Got a strange transparent square that appears on the skin during renders. What causes that?

You'll need to be a bit more precise but it does look like a stray bit of geometry or decal.

Does it happen on a base character in every empty scene? Is it only on this one character in this specific scene? Or any character in this specific scene? You'll need to narrow it down to get a useful answer as 'what causes it' will be very specific to your scene because it's not a Studio bug or setting problem.

You could post your scene .duf file here and with a bit of luck that might be enough to give an answer even if people don't have every item in your particular scene.

It may be caused by something in the scene, such as a plane in front of the figure/camera, or decal.  Try clicking in that area to see if it is a selectable node in that area. Nodes may not be selectable in the Viewport, so can select them in the Scene tab instead.

using NVIDIA iray preview while doing this may be helpful to see the effect of toggling nodes on/off as you rule out culprit by process of elimination.
