Where is the "Product Library"?

I've purchased several items that say in the description that a template is available in the "Product Library", but for the life of me, I don't know where that is.  I've searched through every file that came with the product and done extensive searches through the Daz site, but still coming up with buppkiss.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • And if they're referring to my "Product Library" here at Daz, I've searched through that as well and find nothing beyond the files I've already downloaded with my purchase.

  • It would sure be nice if there were an easy way to contact the Vendor and ask them directly.

When it says "available in the Product Library" it does indeed mean the one in your account (https://www.daz3d.com/downloader/customer/files)

It should look something like the attached image.

I heard that PAs are supposed to supply templates to DAZ, but I too have found many cases where they are not there. If the product page says there should be templates there but they are NOT there, you can raise a support ticket to say so.

  • Or from D/S export out an .obj. Import it into a 3D modelling program and export out the uv template with that. There are also a few uvmap utility programs such as UVMapper.

In D/S with the item selected in the viewport, on the dropdown tab for type of view there is one for the UVmap. One could take a screengrab of that area.

  • MelanieL -- Yeah, no template in my Product Library so I filled out a support ticket.

Catherine -- I'll give your idea a shot as well.  I used to have UVMapper many years ago, but don't think it's on my computer anymore.  I'll figure something out.

  • Another thing one can do is make a copy of existing texture images for the product and using an image editor that works with layers, change the textures. Be careful though to rename the file when saving out the new textures so that it does not overwrite the existing texture.
