Annoying cones and dotted lines

Hi, can someone tell me how to get rid fo the annoying red and blue cones and dotted white lines shown in the attached image?

Switch to a different tool (I think you are using the Joint Editor). You can configure what shows with the Joint Editor at the bottom of the Tool Settings pane.

Those cones represent the bones of the character and the dotted lines show the bone hierarchy. Like Richard said, select something like the Node Selection tool instead of the Joint Editor tool. Tools are represented with little icons on your tool bar. Try selecting the tool with an icon that looks like an arrow.
