one is actually based on a weird character I'd never heard of till today... ( the one on the left... ) wink

    do you recognise it?

It looks a lot like the comic hero named ....  the Flash

    it kinda does doesn't it...

    it's actually AnpanMan

I'd never heard of it till yesterday... It's a Japanese super hero ... whose head is made of anpan which is a Japanese bread.. wacky stuff hey.. smiley

I only heard of it through BTS's song:

i don't even know or heard of BTS lol

but yeah... anpan man is a superhero in Japan!  yes

Really!? Someone who hasn't heard of BTS? Now that is wacky! LOL

BTS is so big in the US that even I have heard of them, old guy though I be.  In the modern world, it is not enough to simply enjoy BTS, we must have academic papers and a university course about BTS.

Haha This is so detailed and fabulous! Even the art on the walls and the other scene elements add so many layers to this mystery. This must have taken ages to set up! Awesome work!

Not doing the cockpit to scale - just a general representation.

thanks, that's the best thing about Carrara, it only takes a short time to set up then a couple of minutes to render.. The time is in modelling and boning and morphing a cube into something which can take anything up to around 5 hours.. I only turn the computer on around 10.30am then turn it off around 5pm and I get sidetracked a lot especially this time of year when the cricket is on which doesn't help laugh

  • Bunyip02Bunyip02 Posts: 8,712

Easy to get sidetracked when there are many options to do ...

Also my Graphics computer does not like hot weather so I have to drop back to my laptop (which I am on right now).

Unfortunately Blender 4.2/4.3 is not backwards compatible so I can't save the Eagle to work on it in Blender 2.93 which runs on the laptop. crying

Might get sidetracked and do another tutorial !!!

everything in the image was modelled in Carrara ( @Diomede office freebies are there as well ) I stumbled upon his toon skeleton arm today when I went to ShareCG.. Why I didn't know about @diomede 's skeleton arm sooner I have no idea..

anyways Ace is boned and morfed wink

@Stezza, more terrificness!   Use the skeleton arm that way makes it look like Thing from the Addams Family has gotten really old.  Haha.

when I was an ankle biter ( about 5 years old ) mum would buy a high rise loaf still hot from the baker and break it in half and I would take half to my Grandma's house ... lucky we don't have wolves downunder!... I did this on a regular basis and would eat the centre bread as I walked to Grandmas...

so out with the Carrara Cube and baked a loaf of said bread... and textured it as well..

D'LoRenzo holding the loaf... yep, I modelled the knife as well...  smiley

with all the talk about drones, orbs and lights in the sky I thought I haven't modelled a grey from a cube ..

so... the cube transcended from the fourth dimension and materialised as an alien grey.... Magical Trevor was perplexed! laugh
