Any way to merge a hair set to a body and make just 1 object that keeps weight maps and bones in hair ??

The only way to merge figure and a fitted hair as a single object (figure) is to use 'Merge Fitted Figure(s) Geometry' in Geometry Editor. However the hair will lose the rigging of its own but just being merged into its parent's geometry and surfaces.
ah... no good then. darn. hmmmm maby make copy of bones,,,do merge..then paste bones back. gotta try that. thanks for direction to take.
Yup... if you'd really like, technically you can rig the merged hair... cumbersome but doable.
I'm not sure what you're gonna do with such a merged figure... in a game engine or sth.? Usually if we use Daz characters in UE or Blender, etc., we rarely merge the geometry but just merge rigs...
