I was upgrading DAZ to the newest version 4.22. But when finished and I opened DAZ, it freeze the UI just white and some icons just in letters.
Reinstalling through DIM also freeze. THe uninstall progress bar just stay at 0%
If I delete DAZ, will my UI settings stay?

Before unintall and re-install, you must assure that Daz Studio's session is fully closed. You chan check it in Task Manager and manually kill the session. Then retry...
PS: You better have backed up the old version of DS installation package (IM package) before update. Strongly suggest you just install a Public Build version and keep DS General Release version 4.21.0.5...
Try to give DS to close naturally - force quitting can break things, including the UI settings that you want to keep.
In fact, no superstition for me though I understand what Ds is gonna do after being closed. If DS cannot disappear within 90 seconds from Task Manager, just kill it. I've been frequently doing so for at least 5 years, had zero issue from it.
But if you DO care and safety is always your first priority, pls just wait until it's gone.
The risks are UI, though the safe save feature should protect that, plug-in settings, where you are at the mercy of whatever the developer did (and plug-ins are a frequent source of shut-down delay, when it isn't a heavily loaded character), and possibly database corruption. If you go off-piste adn get eaten by a cryptozoic sabre-tooth that is your risk, but you shouldn't encourage others to risk it.
Anw, I've solved my problem.
I just deleted the daz and reinstalled.
Looks okay now.
UI intake.
Anywho, DAZ does often not shutdown immediately.
Usually in my case when suddenly Iray render or Iray preview can't be performed. Out of VRAM I guess.
When DAZ is closed, it's still there, I don't know till when.
Use Task Manager to verify that it is closed before installing a new version.
