Render will not adjust with new Daz update...

Have played with all the setting and Render time will not change...Have render quality set to an absurdly low number and this simple picture is still taking over a minute to render.     Any one else?    Or what might be causing this?   Previously with this render quality it would have probably been just a few pixels....Im not getting any younger, so speed is somewhat important!

It is a new computer- will look for updates....Im the queen of finding stupid problems I cant solve....End up starting all over :(     But have the render time down, so I should out live this projects....

New computers usually ship with a ssytem drive formatted from a set-up that the maker designed months ago (hence, usually, a string of updates before you can do anything) - unfortunately Windows Update will rarely get very recent GPU drivers.
