Quick Question: Rigging Tutorials

I'm curious about the tutorials I find all over youtube about rigging a model in Blender, if they would also work in Daz, as in I follow the blender tutorial to rig in Daz?
I'm asking due to a lack of up to date thorough tutorials for Daz.

Unless you know in advance what is applicable and what is not applicable, I suppose it could be confusing and worthless. But if you want just a general understanding of rigging conceptually, then i suppose it could be helpful as a baseline level.
As to lack of up-to-date tutorials, I imagine as long as the tutorial is referring to the correct/current weighting system, general weights not triax, then tutorial will still be valid. I feel like you would get more out of an old daz tutorial than a new blender one.
I know there's differences in the weight mapping between the 2 programs, it's the bones themselves I was wondering about, such as starting point and where to go from there. Many of the blender tuts they start in the chest, yet if right, Daz starts in the hip.
Will stick with Daz for now, just wish there was a more up to date in depth Daz tut.
