I'm sorry to bring you a little bit of sad news. The docs (Overview.pdf and CookBook.pdf) in both SDKs are exactly the same.

I too wish we had a better, more complete, documentation. However there are code snippets in the include files that will show you how to use it.
Another way to access the SDK is by using the SDK Reference. But you'll have build it yourself (see my post in the Developer forum).
Tip: Download all the sourcecode from the developers that went OpenSource (e.g. Inagoni, Digital Carvers Guild, ... ) and learn from their code.
