  • Very nice — you're tempting me.

Is the Chinese Gazebo part of this set? I've been considering buying it, but haven't decided yet.

This looks beautiful, it's got me tempted as well.  Is the sky included with the Iray version?

    Cheers,

    Alex.

Aha. So we get the rest of the garden as well.

I thought that the gazebo realy needed a water feature.

  • Is probably a bundle hopefully for those who have bought the Gazebo.

My only issue with AP's sets is the trees and shrubs are all groups and not single versions, Single in DS one could use instances or he could do an instance preload and in Carrara I could use replicators.

The load for the groups of vegetation is invariably too big for Carrara or Octane render,

I have broken up his other sets.

I have with the Geometry editor in DS or vertex room in Carrara and saved out induvidual trees and use those a lot as Octane hates Carrara trees which are way heavier too converted to mesh as needed for Octane.

Your trees a very well modeled and suited for GPU renderers that like transmaps and as various individual trees with shape variation not groups would be used a lot more by me.

Instances in DS means very thick vegetation can be done too.

There is another scene with a continuation of the topic.
As you may have noticed there is a gazebo in a new scene, but it is different from the one in the "Chinese Gazebo": another form of mounts in the roof, other number of pillars.

The set is included only the light and render settings for the render iray, and light for 3dlight.
The sky in the promo image is a background image installed behind the transparent layer.

This is an independent large scene, that does not require anything, only DAZ Studio or Poser Pro.

Yes, in this set large clusters of similar objects are split into several parts.
You can disable some of them that are not in the camera view to speed up the render process.

The scene is divided into three large groups LOD1, LOD2, LOD3. LOD 1 - use to work with the viewport, and LOD 2 and LOD3 turn only to check the contact with other objects or to render.

Thank you for still making DazStudio AND Poser files (and not DSON)!

    I love what you created!

  • Thanks to all!

My heavens that scene certainly gives the artists a lot of different viewpoints from which to shoot, and loaded with nice scenery. And talk about colorful!

Thank you. I've thought about it, but now I'm working with two Chinese city buildings.
