More fireflies with new studio update?

Is it me or is the new studio update perhaps combined with my swapping to nvidia studio driver from game ready driver producing more fireflies? I didn't have the issue before, but now it's horrible.

    Are your running with the "firefly" filter on or off?

    I'll try going back to game ready drivers. The issue is mostly with hair. I did a render before the update, then made a small amendment to the scene and re-rendered after the update, and got a tone of firefly speckles on the hair. Lighting wasn't changed, only a small change to the model.

    I've tried both, hasn't seemed to do much apart from slow down render times.
