Parented Jewellery Problems

I have two ring props (not boned) parented to left ring 1, if I bend left ring 1 manually the rings follow as expected, however if I use the controller hand grasp or fingers grasp the rings don't follow, what I don't understand, is left ring 1 is still bending the same way it would if done manually.
I've tried rigid node followers with some degree of success, I'm still not sure how to use them effectively. Should I designate more or less as a RNF.

That is very intrigueing! I've just tried the same out of curiosity with a G9 figure, but my ring behaves exactly the same no matter if I bend the finger joint or use the controller.
Mine was just a simple cylinder I've made in Blender. I've tried exporting it twice with different origins to see if that makes a difference, but it doesn't. They stay in place just fine without distortions.
I wonder what's so speical about your ring?
I re-exported to zero them, but once parented their coords changed, manually bending the joint works, grasping works, but when I select hand and children to zero them the rings move, if I lock their coords, they move properly.
I think I've worked it out, when I exported the rings to zero them, it was on a custom character with a height morph as well. Which is why the coords changed once parented, once I repeated the process on a vanilla G8 figure first and then applied my character morph, it now works without a rigid node follower, without having to lock the coords.
I'm a Poser user from way back, I can't remember parenting items being that complicated in Poser, once something was parented it was glued, it didn't matter if the character was morphed or vanilla.
That issue will only happen if you Parent the rings to the node "Left Ring 2" or "Left Ring 3" rather than "Left Ring 1"... Pls dbl-check...
As for Rigid Follow Node, a trick you may try is: select only 1 or 2 polygons on the front and back of the finger, to make the Rigid structure more stable (screenshots 3 - 4). Usually the less polygon you select, the stabler the RFN will be...
Both are and were parented to Left ring 1.
It's working perfectly now, I just have to remember, when doing something like this, to do on a vanilla character.
Oh... I've never used vanilla, my case is on G8.
Mine too, what I meant by vanilla was plain, standard, unmorphed, like using the dev load model, it's a modding term.
Ah, got it ! I'm no English speaker. Glad to learn that. Thanks!
I only just noticed the last two images (only the 1st two were visible when I replied) regarding the rigid node followers, I'll have to give your suggestion a go.
