Question about updating Daz

So I currently have version 4.20 of DazStudio. Will I lose any data if I update to 4.22? There is a product that I'm assuming is not compatble with version 4.20 since its not loading in correctly. Its this one linked below. Says Daz has to be version 4.22.

No, you won't. And if DS General Release is updated, version info. of Compatible Software on product page will be also updated.
The hair product works with 4.22.
That hair product was released in 2019. It will probably work fine in 4.20, which came out in 2022. Any time Daz releases a new version of Studio the whole store updates to say all products are compatible with that new version. That really doesn't help anyone at all.
