Moving Carrara (and DS4.8) to a different install folder? (resolved)

So, I'm getting back into 3d modelling, and grabbing the Install Manager to do (almost) everything. Unfortunately, I was distracted at the time, and left the install directories at their default (Program Files/Program Files(x86)). Then, when finally installing Bryce 7.1 Pro, I remembered....

So, I now have directory in the root called Daz3D, which I've put Bryce into, but what about Carrara 8.5 Pro, and Daz Studio 4.8?

Can I just copy the folders out of Program Files, and into C:\Daz3D and that's it? (except updating the shortcuts, and the Application targets in the IM, and maybe a couple of in-application settings?).

Or will I have to uninstall the whole of both of them (plus content), and re-install both? (re-downloading, because i was an idiot, and deleted all the packages - its my laptop, so I was being conscious of keeping my drive space free).

Thanks in advance,

Ann-Marie

quickest & best I would imagine would be just uninstal via DiM then reinstal to where you want them as set up in your DiM ..

Thanks for the reply, Stezza. That's what I ended up doing  - just removing IM items until the Program Files/Daz 3D folders were empty/removed, then re-downloading/re-installing to the new path.  I just wish the Yosemite HDR Packs weren't so large - my internet's having a 'slow day' today, and they're taking forever. :(

    Thanks again.
