huge number of "formula output property not found" errors

Upon loading a scene, the log file shows a large number -- hundreds - of "property not found" warnings. They all have the the string,

D:\DAZDevel\Hudson\HUDSON_HOME\jobs\NB_Studio_Trunk\workspace\src\sdksource\fileinput\dzassetdaz.cpp(697)

in them and each warning references a file that exists in the data subfolder of my Daz 3D Library folder, The files exist; they are there. RIchard has told me that the string I listed above refers to the location of a property in the devoper's own system. Moreover they are warnings, not outright errors. I would not worry about them except that I now have two problems that I did not have some weeks prior to this. (1) The morphs on figures in some of my earlier scenes are wrong; the figures do not look they they did when I first rendered scenes with them. (2) Rendering often fails with with the following errors   ; these are renders that worked previously.

Questions: Is there some way to reset a scene to fix it? Is there some way to repair my Daz studio installation so these warnings and failures do not occurr?

    Everyone gets a string of warnings like this. It is possible that a morph is being lost, but then you would get a missing file error - more likely, something installed since the scenes were working has a non-zero default and you are getting an extra shape on top of the intended shape. What happens if you load the base figure, does that look correct?

  • Followup: This is the error I get when trying to use iray draw style in the view port or attempting a render in a new wondow:

    In both cases I have to kill studio with the task manager.  This happens only on scenes where the morphs were corrupted as described in my OP above.

    How can I fix those scenes?

    Also, What or who is Hudson?

  • Also note that rendereing in both draw mode and new window work just fine in files where the morphs have not been corrupted.

    Don't know where you are getting this idea your morphs are corrupt from.

    DS has two "warnings" that are different but mean the same thing, they are - "Formula target property not found" and "Formula output property not found".

    What they mean is that a formula (ERC link) in a .DSF asset file is trying to connect to another .DSF asset file, and it either can't find it or it's being blocked from accessing it.

    If it can't find it then that means that you either don't have the asset file it's looking for installed, or it's found the correct asset ID just not at the location it was told to look, or an idiot content maker has renamed files/asset IDs after making the formulas and never bothered to check it still works, that last one I run into all to bloody often.

    If the files are there, and the asset IDs are right, then it's being blocked, and that usually means you are loading a default install of Genesis 8.1.

    But as you haven't attached your log file to a post it means we have no idea what the real issue(s) are.

    The morphs have not been  corrupted, as far as I can tell from your summary. if you are not getting the same messages you are not loading the same content, which may well be why some scenes work and some don't. Iray does not get the morphs, or joints, all it gets is the final shapes.

    I have those files too. I believe, they belong to a vendor over at Renderotica named zoro_d, who published the G8f characters Chameleon Rose and Kitten for free.
    I deleted his files, since a lot of his dsf-files have a default value of 100% and have links to his geograft attachments. It was just highly annoying, that every time you zero a figure, his morphs got dialed in.
