Iam looking for a way to render different parts of the scene with different samplesizes i. e. Figure with a very high samplesize and everything else with a lower one.
In Blender you can achive that by rendering the parts independently and compositve the two renders afterwards. Is that possible within Daz?

Yes, with canvasses in Iray (advanced tab of Render Settings) you can render only selected nodes (by creating a node set for a Beauty pass). You can also give elements a plain matt material so that it is very simple to render and produces an easily masked area that you can then hide from a render of the parts of interest for compositing, which works in any renderer.
Be advised that with canvases, you need to have a program that can handle EXR (high dynamic range) files to put the pieces together properly.
Canvasses is a great tool, but it has a slight learning curve to it.
