Hello,
It's related to my post : https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/674131/top-coat-weight-lie-gradient
Using script, any tips about how I could add an opaque black layer under the png images layers?

See this sample script http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/scripting/api_reference/samples/images/create_layered_image_backdrop/start
I've seen that but it looks kind of heavy for my use. Since there's a need for a base material anyway, I guess I will go that way with some kind of how-to to tell people they need to load the provided base mat before using LIEs. "Documentation" is supposed to have some use, after all.
