Trying to export obj but after save defaults to bvh box

Hi. I'm trying to export some items in DAZ to Marvelous Designer but the only option that comes up after Save is the BVH box. I don't remember having this issus 'back in the day.'  This happened even with a fresh object inserted into a clean pane. Any help is always appreciated.

    You chose Wavefront Object format in Export File dialog, then BVH format dialog box popped up after clicking Save ?  What's your DS version ?
