Concerning error in log file of new version 4.22.0.16

Noticed this in the log file, seems to be related to the 'new scene' popup, as it only appears when i ctrl+n and get the popup.

Not a big deal as my system isn't connected to the internet, but anytime software wants to 'phone home' it tends to worry me.

That is the new "New Scene" behaviour, they want to advertise products to you and that is what DS is trying.

And the Ads related data are stored within "webNotification" folder in your %appdata%\DAZ 3D\Studio4\... All the actions from the "new features" cannot be overriden by users...

Thanks for the link richard. I hadn't updated the software in quite some time so i thankfully have missed out on all this garbage.
