unable to decode frame

Hi,

i load the video avi format to giroscoping. If the avi is created with carrara i hasn't problem. If i load the avi movie of another sources i have the erroe as title. Why? And think do i do?

    Sounds to me like a codec issue. When I work with video for production use like this, I don't use codecs and just make uncompressed avi (full frames).

    One solution would be to try a video file converter and convert to some codec that is in your list in Carrara's codec list.

    Make sure you read on them that they can convert from avi to avi or from avi to "Sequenced Image" formats, which Carrara also supports.
