Black background

Oftentimes I render a figure like Genesis 8 with feet clipping into the floor of the room prop,  then re-render using the first render as a backdrop and deleing the room prop.

But suddenly in the last 2 weeks, the background/environment does not show up, only black background.  How do I fix this ??

    If you want transparency or an alpha then you must save the no-background render as PNG or Tiff, jpg will get a solid background.

    Or backdrop is not set to none?
