When applying texture, how to make the repeating tile pattern not to look so obvious?

    The human eye and brain are rather efficient in finding patterns.

    Procedural textures are best, but DS does not support that unless fidling with Shader Builder and nodes.

    The only way I know of in DS, is to add a texture on top with a different tiling number.

    It could be done using Diffuse overlay channel, or adding a geoshell.

    Or ensure that there is no significant patterns that can catch the eye.

    Or, for iray, use decals. Also, try to avoid having too much variation across the maps themselves as that is what the eye will pick up.
