Quick, Basic Kitbash Recipe for Bluebird 3D / ForbiddenWhispers / Stonemason Assets
If you’ve picked up Bluebird 3D & ForbiddenWhispers’ excellent new “Franklin Square Loft” and you already own Stonemason’s equally excellent “The Dark Side of the City,” here’s a quick basic recipe to set your new digs down snugly in a proper warehouse district.
Load Franklin Square Loft.
Merge and group Darkside City. Then transform the entire group:
Yrot 90.0
Xtrans 676.99
Ytrans -146.65
Ztrans -2107.73
Inside DarkSideCity, turn off display for:
um1Props3
um1Bldg7
um1Sky if desired and swap in another sky source.
From the outside, you can see it’s an almost perfect fit, but that there’s no direct path from the loft door to the front side. If you need one in your storyboarding, try grouping the entire loft (can’t remember if it’s already grouped or not) and then XScaling the group down slightly and sliding it on negative X to butt back up against the neighboring building. You can finish the walkway out with some concrete-textured planes, or just leave the grass.
Obviously, you can keep building the inside view in the distance with other urban assets.
I still haven’t decided what to do about scenery on the backside of the loft where the door is. I’m looking at maybe carving up some of Stonemason’s “Backstreets” set to build that side out, or maybe a cut-up street from the older Urban Sprawl.
But this should make a quick, workable basis for some extended scenery.

This is a genius share, definitley going to give it a whirl as it looks like it would be well suited to a scene I have in mind, thank you.
Looks very good together. Thanks for the tip!
