My renders are black! Why? Solved!

I was messing with my settings and managed to, at first, turn the whole render black but then I mindlessly messed around a little more and then my renders came out black against a clear background. what I'm wanting is a colored figure against a clear background. please help me figure it out. I've already converted the program back to "restore."

    Which settings? What are they now? If this is Render Settings have you tried clickung the Defaults button at top-right in the Editor tab?

    What environment mode do you have currently? I'd guess you're on Scene Only with no actual scene lights.
