This dog person spans many genres, from an Egyptian God to a sci-fi alien, or magical fantasy hero, let your imagination take him wherever it will. I love how you can take a character concept like Anubis and still make him(/her) versatile enough to be an anthropomorphised mechanic. Ultimately, Anubis just an anthro jackal, and only becomes Anubis when portrayed as such. The same is true of anthro elephants (Ganesh), crocodiles (Sobek), and so on.
I dont like characters to be "one trick ponies" I try to make them so they can be used in a wider variety of ways
